One Month and One Thousand Visits!

Wow! Hard to believe that a month ago I was just starting my whole journey into the bento lunchbox. I've learned so many new things and have been inspired by so many of the other bento blogs. There are some amazing moms out there. It's also hard to believe that in that month, there have been over a thousand visits to Foodie Footsteps! Thanks everyone for visiting my blog and for keeping me on the creative wagon, so to speak. It really does make me think more about keeping the chic's lunches new and exciting! Now - on to the food...

For the chic's first lunch of the new month, I've made her favorite salad (Strawberry Spinach Goat Cheese) into a wrap.

Spinach Strawberry Salad Wrap with Balsamic dip, Black Olive Penguins, Almond Nut Thins and Fig Newton Cookies, Cottage Cheese

Black olive penguins were from a recipe from allrecipes.com. I think they are ADORABLE! But, they would be a pain if you had to make a bunch of them. That's what I like about the bento lunch box - it's not a biggie to make stuff like this if you're only making a few!
